By bundling your Home Phone with an Aussie Broadband internet service you can receive a great call rate, and will save on your broadband plan. Our Home Phone network uses the same network as most Australians so your call quality will be exactly the same as it is today and best of all you will be saving money.
Customers on ADSL2+ will save $10 per month off their broadband plan by bundling their home phone. Customers on ADSL1, Fixed Wireless Broadband and Satellite will save between $5 – $10 by bundling their home phone.
VoIP (Voice over IP)
Voice over IP or VoIP is a method where phone calls can be made over your broadband connection. By doing this you can make massive savings on your phone bill. For example using our VoIP network you can ring any landline in Australian and only pay 15c for the call — untimed. That means you can talk as long as you like and the most it will cost is 15c to a landline number.
VoIP is compatible with ADSL1, ADSL2+ and Fixed Wireless Broadband. It’s not available on our Satellite or Mobile Broadband products.
We also offer a two way VoIP service mean that you can receive calls as well as make them. Using our Fixed Wireless service you can potential escape your home phone line rental and move to VoIP *. You can even keep your existing phone number.
* The use of VoIP as a primary line is not recommended for people that require priority phone access or if the service is your only means of calling 000. Should you experience a power failure at your property, this service will not work without power.
