Special Offer for existing IPSTAR Customers:
If you are an existing customer with another ISP on the IPSTAR network you can now transfer your Satellite service to Aussie Broadband.
We are offering a special transfer fee of only $99 which covers the cost of transferring your Satellite equipment over to Aussie's IPSTAR account.
A typical transfer takes between 7 to 14 days and our team will keep in contact during the transfer process. You can download the special transfer application form at the bottom of this document.
No lock in contracts, no gimmicks, just great value!
Plan Information:
- Peak usage is 12 noon to Midnight. Off-peak usage is Midnight to 12 noon
- Data allowances and fees are based on anniversary date.
- Speed is expressed as kilobits per second (kbps) download/upload.
- By default your connection will be shaped (slowed) to 64K/64K when your data limit is reached with NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES and this shaping will be reset on the next monthly anniversary for the start of the new period. Or if you would like to keep your connection at full speed all the time you can elect to pay for data at an excess rate of 5 cents per megabyte once the data limit is exceeded.
- Data allowance refers to downloaded data only, uploaded data is free, subject to Acceptable Use Policy as defined in our Terms and Conditions and provided it doesn't exceed a 1:1 download/upload ratio. Normal internet browsing and email will not exceed this ratio.
- You may log into your account to check your data usage at any time. Usage is updated every 15 minutes.
- All plans include 3 Email addresses.
- You may switch between plans without a plan change fee, just the difference in monthly plan costs. (only available as of your monthly anniversary date)
Additional Transfer Information:
- To transfer your service to Aussie Broadband you must have an existing working and stable connection on the IPSTAR Networks
- We are not able to transfer services from all IPSTAR providers, if you are unsure please contact our Sales Team on 1300 880 905 to confirm eligibility.
- Should you require a service call at any stage to support or repair your service you will be advised of the costs relating to this service call before it proceeds
- As Aussie Broadband did not provide your Satellite equipment we are not able to provide a Warranty for your equipment or its installation.
Data Blocks:
Aussie Broadband offers a range of Data Blocks which can be purchased once your connection has been shaped or your limit used. Data Blocks reset your connection to full speed if you have been shaped and expire at the end of your usual billing period.
You can purchase a data block by logging onto the my.aussie website. We currently have the following data blocks available for purchase.
