Incorrect Call Out Fee (ICOF)

Incorrect Call Out Fee (ICOF): $165.00 Inc GST

An ICOF is charged by nbn™, which Aussie Broadband passes onto the customer at cost.

When is an ICOF applied?

When a customer’s premise is FTTC/HFC and classified as a ‘Self Installation Address’, the customer will be sent nbn™ installation devices and is required to connect them.

In the event that the customer cannot connect the sent devices, Aussie Broadband will help troubleshoot the issue. If this fails, Aussie Broadband will arrange to send out an nbn™ technician.

If the nbn™ technician finds that the issue is due to a customer internal issue and not an nbn™ issue (for instance, the customer failed to connect the modem/router or they pulled out the internal wiring), then the Incorrect Call Out Fee (ICOF) may be charged.
