Great nbn plans for Aussie seniors

Our seniors plans are available to customers aged 60 and over.

We have a range of plans for pensioners, whether you're using the internet a lot or just a little.

• Seniors 100GB + Casual Home Phone ($50/month) - This plan gives you 100GB of data (uploads and downloads). It's a pay as you go plan and you don't need to pay excess usage fees if you exceed the 100GB of data.
• Seniors Unlimited + Casual Home Phone ($55/month) - This is a pay as you go plan, giving you unlimited data (uploads and downloads) and great rates on local, interstate, mobile, international calls, and 13 and 1300 numbers. Going with an unlimited nbn® plan could give you great value if you use a lot of data or want peace of mind that you won't go over your data limit.
• Seniors 100GB + Everyday Phone ($60/month) - With this plan, you'll get 100GB of data (uploads and downloads) with unlimited calls for local, interstate, and Australian mobiles. You'll also enjoy great rates for International calls and 13 and 1300 numbers. You don't need to pay excess usage fees if you exceed the 100GB of data.

All of these plans come with the nbn® basic speed (nbn® 12/1). This is ideal for very basic internet use, emails, social media, and web browsing.

We do not have any standard connection fees for our nbn® services. If you are in a new housing development or opt to have a new line connected you may be liable for an additional charge as dictated by the nbn®. But don’t worry, if this is the case we’ll tell you before we confirm your order.

That’s no problem at all! Switching providers is a lot easier than you might think. When you sign up with Aussie Broadband, we’ll take care of any technical requirements when changing from another provider to us. Our local experts will let your current provider know that you’ve switched, and depending on your current setup the entire process could be completed in minutes! Yes it will! You can also keep your existing home phone number by porting it onto our home phone plans. You will need to connect your phone handset via your modem, so you can use the nbn for your phone service (instead of the phone line).

You'll need an nbn®-ready modem/router.

You don't need to buy one from us to sign up with us but we can provide you with one. View our available options here. You might need other types of equipment depending on the modem/router you own. Also note, some devices will need to be registered with nbn® directly such as medical alarms, monitored fire alarms, and lift emergency phones. Other devices to consider are security systems, fax and teletypewriter devices, EFTPOS terminals, health claim terminals, and existing landline phone services. If there has been a previous nbn® connection at your premises the standard time frame is 1-5 business days and there will be no additional work required by a technician.

If your address has not been connected to nbn® before the standard time frame can be anywhere up to 20 business days and is dependent on your nbn® access technology type and technician availability. Your nbn® access technology will determine the exact method of installation for your technician.

For connections to premises that are already connected to the nbn® via FTTN/B or HFC technology there may be a small period of downtime when switching providers.

For connections to premises that are already connected to the nbn® via FTTP or Fixed Wireless technology, another port on the already installed network termination device will be activated in addition to any other active ports, so there should be no down time.

Wi-Fi is the signal that lets your devices connect wirelessly to the nbn®/internet around your property.

nbn® is the National Broadband Network that connects your property to the internet. For most properties, this happens via lines of cable or other types of wiring under your street.

A third type of connection is wireless or mobile broadband, which uses the same type of mobile network you use to access the internet via your smartphone (4G or 5G).
