Aussie Broadband announces 5-year strategic partnership with Accor across Australia

Media Release | Sunday 12 Oct 2025 | 1 min read

Accor and Aussie Broadband

Aussie Broadband is proud to announce it has signed a 5-year strategic partnership with Accor - Australia’s largest hotel operator - to modernise connectivity across Accor’s portfolio of 360-plus managed, franchised, leased and strata hotels in Australia, in addition to the Astore network.

Under the new partnership, Aussie Broadband will work with Accor to upgrade connectivity across its portfolio through the transition to high-speed fibre-based internet. The improved connectivity will help enhance the guest experience through increased bandwidth, a more seamless access experience, and Aussie Broadband’s award-winning network with its extensive domestic and international peering links to all major streaming and content delivery services.

Participating Accor hotels will receive Aussie Broadband’s industry-leading market support and customer service, with a fully managed transition to Aussie Broadband in partnership with Accor’s existing Wi-Fi partners.

Aussie Broadband will uplift Accor’s portfolio in voice connectivity by implementing voice over IP (VoIP) over the new fibre links, to provide quality and reliability for communications. The links will facilitate improved operations by enabling Accor properties to transition away from legacy ISDN based technologies, backed by multiple redundancy options to ensure uninterrupted connectivity.

Aussie Broadband has committed to working with Accor to market exceptional connectivity solutions across the network. Aussie Broadband has also become the first telco to join Accor’s digital Procurement Platform, Purchase Plus, to simplify and streamline purchasing, supplier arrangements and workflows through AI-powered invoice matching and processing capabilities.

Adrian Williams, Chief Operating Officer of Accor in the Pacific region, said: “At Accor, we’re committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring our hotels are at the forefront of innovation. Our partnership with Aussie Broadband is an exciting step in modernising connectivity across our hotel network and enhancing the digital infrastructure that supports our guests and teams.”

“We’re thrilled to work with Accor to improve the experience for guests and staff across Accor properties Australia-wide,” Aussie Broadband Group Chief Executive Brian Maher said.

"Our technology solutions will ensure Accor visitors have faster and more reliable internet, better voice connectivity, more redundancy, and a telecommunications backbone that is future-proofed. It’s also another demonstration of Aussie's ability to work with major Australian businesses to design and deliver complex solutions that saves time and drives efficiencies.”
