Aussie Broadband wins nPerf’s Best Broadband Performance award for 2025!

Aussie Broadband is proud to announce that it has won nPerf’s Best Broadband Performance award for 2025 in their Fixed Internet performance in Australia rankings.    

nPerf is an independent French company that, like Ookla, allows people to run speed tests on their website from which they assess download bitrate, upload bitrate, latency (ping), browsing performance, and streaming performance.  

“This award is recognition that our network is not only delivering an award-winning performance, but it is also the best fit for Australians because it is designed and optimised specifically for them,” said Aussie Broadband General Manager Marketing, Rebecca Rizzo. “This is recognition that we serve up the best broadband on the block because that's who we are.” 

From its 31,900 tests in Australia during 2025, nPerf found that Aussie outperformed its key competitors over 12 months. As a result, Aussie Broadband had the: Fastest fixed network, Best Latency, Best/n°1 Browsing, Best/n°1 Streaming, Fastest Wi-Fi network, Best Wi-Fi Latency, Best/n°1 Browsing on Wi-Fi network and, and Best/n°1 Streaming on Wi-Fi network.  

"This year, Aussie Broadband has performed exceptionally well with its network in Australia. With a score of 112,716 points, it is the operator that has delivered the best customer experience, notably thanks to the highest download speeds in Australia,” said nPerf Head of Sales and Business Development, Arik Benayoun. “However, it should not be forgotten that the nPerf award is a difficult prize to win, as it is based on overall performance, which includes the quality of streaming and browsing, and the tests are carried out by end users."
