Depending on the location, nbn® uses a mix of technologies to connect to the nbn® broadband access network. Some devices will need to be registered with nbn® directly such as medical alarms, monitored fire alarms, and lift emergency phones. Other devices to consider are security systems, fax and teletypewriter devices, EFTPOS terminals, health claim terminals, and existing landline phone services. For nbn® copper connection types, you will need a VDSL/VDSL2+ compatible modem.

Alternatively, if you have existing infrastructure in place and wish to bring your own router to the service, please refer to the setup documentation of your router and our team will assist with the configuration required for your service.

Yes, if your modem is nbn® compatible and not locked to another provider, Aussie Broadband can help reconfigure it for business nbn® service.

If your router is locked to your provider, then you may need to purchase one. Aussie Broadband offers a great range of routers to suit your business needs, nbn® technology type and speed tier. The router would be yours to keep and not locked to us.
