What if my destination is not included in Zone 1?

Does unused data from the $5 day pack roll-over?

No, any unused data in each 24 hour period does not roll-over to the next day.

What happens if I use more than 5GB of data in a single day?

If you are using a $5 day pack and you use more than 5GB data in a single day, you will be charged an additional $5 and given an additional 5GB data to use in that 24 hour period.

Can I enable International Mobile Roaming if I'm already overseas?

Yes! If you forgot to enable roaming before going overseas, call us on +61 3 5165 0000 and we can help enable it for you.

What's the difference between international roaming and international direct dialling?

International Mobile Roaming (IMR) — or just international roaming — is the ability to make calls, send SMS, and use data while outside of Australia. When you use international roaming, it uses a different data balance than your regular monthly data. International direct dialling (IDD) is used to call international numbers from inside Australia. While our plans offer unlimited domestic calls and texts, calling international numbers comes with an additional cost per minute depending on the country you're calling. Some mobile plans come with monthly IDD 'credit' that's used before you receive any additional charges.
