Although, if you're in a new property development or require additional installation work, nbn® may apply extra charges which will be clearly shown during the sign-up process before issuing any charges. If you're signing up with Aussie Broadband, you can bring your own modem if it is nbn® compatible and not locked to your previous provider. Although, we can help you choose from our range of nbn® compatible modems and routers to suit your needs. Contact our team if you have any questions about your modem or finding the right one. We understand you can't go without internet, that's why we make switching easy and hassle free. If you're already connected to the nbn®, installation typically happens within 1-5 days. If you've never been connected to the nbn®, you'll likely need an nbn® tech appointment, which is usually 2-4 weeks. The nbn® technician will come to your property to install any equipment, then we can connect your service.

The $0 Fibre Upgrade is part of the nbn® Fibre Connect initiative, which allows eligible homes to upgrade from older copper-based connections — like Fibre to the Node (FTTN) or Fibre to the Curb (FTTC) — to Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) at no cost. This upgrade delivers faster, more reliable internet. Aussie Broadband is proud to offer $0 FTTP upgrades to select eligible addresses when you switch to a qualifying nbn® plan. Not all NBN speeds are available at every house due to a combination of factors related to your connection type and the technology used to connect you to the NBN network. If you're unsure if you can get one of our high-speed plans, our website will only show your eligible speed options once you've entered your address. Existing customers can log in to MyAussie® to view which speeds are available by viewing the plan change options. Alternatively, anyone can check their technology type by using our connection insights tool.

No! If you're on one of our 100GB or 500GB plans (not an unlimited plan), we'll never charge you anything extra if you go over your data limit. However if you do want to take advantage of some of our other awesome services, you can add them onto your monthly plan.
