Aussie Broadband has won the 2023 Data Plan 4G Small award at the Mozo Experts Choice Awards, and CHOICE’s Best Brand NBN award for the third year in a row with an 88% score.
“At a time where cost of living is at an all-time high, we know how important it is to continue to provide reliable, cost-effective mobile and NBN options for all customers,” Brian Maher, Aussie Broadband Chief Financial Officer, said. "Winning the CHOICE and Mozo awards is a testament to the continued efforts of our entire team who are always going the extra mile to provide the best possible speeds and service for our customers."
"We're thrilled that both CHOICE and Mozo have identified that Aussie Broadband are still setting the benchmark for service and quality Australian internet. That's The Actual Aussie Way, and I'd like to thank every Aussie staffer who made these awards possible."
The Mozo awards are judged by Mozo experts using their own custom-built in-house research and analysis tools and focus on the value that products bring to customers. Aussie bested 49 other providers plans, and 21 winning providers across the 19 categories.
"Aussie Broadband was named as one of just three winners for 4G Data Plans, from the dozens of mobile plans assessed in this category," said Mozo Experts Choice judge AJ Duncanson. "They had one of the lowest costs per gigabyte for small data plans, which made these plans stand out against the competition as exceptional value for money and a deserving recipient of the 2023 Mozo Experts Choice Awards badge.”
CHOICE’s Best Brand NBN is determined by an overall NBN speed satisfaction score and overall speed score that rely on data from volunteers across Australia. Aussie’s satisfaction score was 84% while its speed score was 91%, averaging to 88%.
CHOICE use people’s responses to surveys for the satisfaction scores. The overall NBN speed score is obtained by “averaging out the publicly available speed monitoring data provided by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) every three months.”
The wins come after Aussie’s recent sweep at the 2023 Mozo People’s Choice Awards where the company was recognised in the Connection Quality, Excellent Service and Support, Most Recommended, and Outstanding Customer Satisfaction awards for broadband services categories.
