Can a family move to a new service provider during the free period?

No, an SSBI service is not able to be transferred to another SSBI internet provider. Families can choose to disconnect and leave the initiative at any time within the free period. If they cancel, they cannot re-join later.

Will I still be able to use the SSBI plan if I move to a different address?

If you move to an address that is nbn serviceable with your existing SSBI provider, we will be able to move your connection to your new address - BUT you must remain with your existing SSBI RSP (e.g. Aussie Broadband). This does not require a new voucher to be issued.

What if I have already connected to the SSBI?

Families or carers that are already connected to on the SSBI Program will continue to be supported on this program until 30 June 2028.
