New 5G Mobile Plans
Our new 5G shaped mobile plans go live on October 31, 2024.
These new 5G* shaped plans will enable access to Optus' 5G network at affordable prices. Details of our new 5G plans are below:

| Essential 100GB | 5G Shaped 150Mbps |
| Regular Data Only 25GB | 5G Shaped 100Mpbs |
| Large Data Only 45GB | 5G Shaped 150Mpbs |
All current 5G plans will not be impacted by the change.
Aussie Broadband will be discontinuing legacy 4G mobile plans as a result of this upgrade. The discontinued 4G plans are:

Current 4G Customers will not be automatically migrated on to 5G shaped plans. Any partners that opt to change their plans to a 5G shaped service will not be able to revert to a 4G plan.
**Data pooling features for 5G shaped plans will be shared with existing 4G plans. Data pooling for non-shaped 5G plans (5G X-Large120GB and XX-Large 220GB) will continue to pool separately.
