Does someone have to be home for my appointment?

If you have an appointment, you, or someone over the age of 18, needs to be there for the whole appointment for all appointments that are scheduled from 8am to 12pm or 1pm to 5pm. FTTN appointments scheduled from 7am until 2pm do not require a person to be at home.

During an appointment that does require someone at home, nbn™ will need access to the connection point for testing on FTTN, and to install equipment for FTTP, HFC, FTTC, and Fixed Wireless. This does not apply to addresses that qualify for a self-install.

If you have an activation, you don’t need to be home.
